The CIL Training Centre (TC) Manager is in charge of managing and coordinating all activities within the Training Centre. In particular, he/she is in charge of managing and organizing activities under the project Civil Initiatives Libya within the TC. As required, he/she also provide support to the Youth Program Officer to implement activities related to the CIL Youth Program, as well as the QIP manager in Tripoli for the activities related to CIL’s QIP program.
As the focal point of the Training Centre, the TC Manager is also in charge of establishing and maintaining regular and good cooperation with Libyan CSOs and CIL partners.
Furthermore, he/she is in charge of coordinating and managing all CIL staff working in the Training Centre.
He/she is also responsible for managing and supervising all financial and logistical issues related to the TC.
Activities related to the Training Centre ( part of the CIL project)
Organise trainings within the Training Centre, which are in line with the CIL mandate and defined according to the local needs
Support CSOs to organise trainings, meetings and events in the Training Centre
Ensure that all users are registered and included in the database
Advertise trainings and ensure that each training is evaluated
Provide adequate support to all activities within the TC (printing material, organising catering etc.)
Together with the TC Officer and Communications Officer, update communications channels (Facebook, news in brief, etc.), and draft weekly reports to be submitted to the CIL/QIP Manager
Maintain relationships and networks with CSOs and CIL partners; constantly expand CIL’s network to additional CSOs and local trainers
Closely coordinate with the TC Officer on all activities implemented within the TC; approve activities and trainings suggested by the TC Officer
