information, visit our Arabic website, http://www.msf-me.org. MSF is working in partnership with Support Us, Libyan NGO that provide support to the internally displaced (IDP) population and the community in need in Benghazi
This announcement has been made in English only as fluency in English is a requirement of the position.
Support MSF activities by providing pertinent oral and written translations for medical, administrative and logistics team members;
Provide accurate oral translation during contacts in Arabic with medical professionals, patients, staff and any other relevant people, and written translation of various documents;
Support the team capacity building efforts by managing the translation during staff training and providing language training to MSF staff if required;
Contribute to smooth communication amongst team members, and between team and patients by identifying communication gaps due to different language
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Preferable university degree in English, preferably with translation course (including interpretation);
Fluent in both English and Arabic, written and spoken, essential
Experience in a same position, preferably with another international organization;
Interest in health care and good knowledge of medical terms;
Strong work ethic, high motivation, flexibility and punctuality.
Benghazi Polyclinic in Daqhadosta, Zeitoun neighborhood near Salah al-Din School (Benghazi, Libya).
Initially as daily worker, with potential for future contract. Working hours flexibility required.
