adawul Technology is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Manager. We are the leading company providing electronic payment solutions in the Libyan market. We launched are services in April 2015 and are currently executing an aggressive growth plan to establish the country’s first effective payments acceptance network infrastructure. As of the end of 2015 we have deployed over 500 point of sale terminals at merchants across Libya. The terminals enable consumers to top up their mobile phone and internet service provider accounts replacing the current market paradigm of distributing airtime via scratch cards. This solution brings several advantages to consumers, retailers, and service providers. Our objective is to increase the number of terminals in our network to over 2000 by the end of 2016 and rollout additional bill payment services to enhance the value proposition of the network.
In addition to the electronic bill payment products, we are in the process of rolling out a solution for fuel cards which will replace fuel “coupons” used by large corporations in Libya. This partnership with the largest fuel station operator will complete its pilot phase by the end of Q1 2016 after which we plan to aggressively deploy terminals to their entire network of over 150 stations. If successful we anticipate successfully addressing the rest of the fuel station market through the other operators, establishing a monopolistic position in this segment of the payments business.
In 2016 we will also be launching MasterCard-branded prepaid cards for travel and use on the internet as well as local currency debit cards that can be used at our top up merchants to pay for goods and services. This initiative is being done in cooperation with several local financial institutions to accelerate the number of customers and our reach in the prepaid and debit card segment.
Tadawul was established in 2013 as a joint venture between the HB Group (Libya’s largest private business group), Maghreb (a Libyan focused private equity group), and Wirecard AG (one of the global leaders in mobile and electronic payments). Marketing Job Duties:
1- Interact and involve in all products design / specs defining the targeted consumer and Financial institution
2- In charge of building full product life cycle from engaging with all departments from Engineering ,Sales and finance
3- Approve product Go-live after ensuring intensive tastings and product functionalities are met
4- Project planning including marketing budget requirements for product soft –launches and campaigns
5- Ensure Raseed brand awareness is in the top using TT distribution channels
6- Engage with Media and adverting service providers and approve designs and campaigns themes
7- Work across functionally with the revenant department to ensure product road map is aligned with the executions
8- Set-Up TT/Raseed branding strategy
9- Establish Marketing department to drive TT future business growth
10- Provide weekly consumer insights reports with help from TT Sales team and TT systems
11- Participate to the board weekly call when needed
12- Plan and supervise the execution Sales retail activities cobranded with operators and banks based on key business objectives
