Job Title:  Sales Engineer

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Directing implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
  • Providing input and participating in the marketing, market planning and technical development of products and services.
  • Representing Alwadi Communications at selected trade association meetings.
  • Developing and maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales.
  • Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends, technical developments.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the activities and products of the competition.
  • Researching and evaluating customer needs and working with operations personnel to develop application of products in an effective manner.
  • Determine which products/service best meet their client’s needs.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, & communicating sales data showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Schedule presentations with customers to communicate new and changing product options and reaffirming the complete range of business benefits.
  • Establish relationships with new customers and key company representatives.
  • The SE role is a customer- facing position and will require addressing technical concerns and assistance from customers and their vendors.
  • Engages in continuous learning to stay abreast on new and emerging technologies.
  • Pricing, suggesting solutions to clients and understanding client concerns.

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology or equivalent.

·       Minimum of 3 years sales experience in the ICT Industry.

·       Excellent command of English and good command of Arabic.

·       Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as the ability to manage a number of customers simultaneously, and to perform job functions independently with minimal management supervision.

·       The Sales Engineer must have strong analytical, communication and customer presentation skills. 

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Effective interpersonal and listening skills.

·       Self-driven and independent.

·       Persistence and follow-up skills are essential.

·       The selected candidate will report to: Sales Manager
