Human Resources Manager

Title: Human Resources Manager

Duty station: Tripoli

The Human Resources Manager, under the supervision of the Administrative department and Tripoli-based National coordinator, will be focused on the HR management within the organization, according to the agency procedures and external procedures. HR department is responsible for overseeing employees’ recruitment and bargaining, training and development, and performance appraisal.

She/He will also support the Agency developing and maintaining close working relations with UNHCR, governmental institutions, non-governmental organizations, and People of concern.

 

Specific tasks and responsibilities:

·        Preparing and double checking contracts are regularly registered by the competent authorities, and taxes and social insurance are deducted and deposited according to tax regulation;

·        Calculating and submitting local tax returns and social security entitlements on monthly basis under supervision of the Administrative Coordinator;

·        Supervising and defining staff contracts according to grade and level of salary scale;

·        Woking closely with Ministry of Labour, when/if requested according to the needs;

·        Supporting administration department for all CESVI registration procedures and other requests;

·        Preparing vacancies with job description, providing the Agency management with ToRs when requested and dealing with publication of calls online;

·        Screenings applications and scheduling interviews for applicants;

·        Update staff files (payroll on monthly basis) and schedule HR documentation (Contracts amendments, ID, TOR, CV and monthly time sheets);

·        Support office management.

 

Desirable competencies:

·        Minimum 2 years of experience in HR managemen;

·        Managing HR information professionally;

·        Fluency in written and spoken English;

·        Exceptional ability to work under pressure with attention to details;

·        Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point;

·        Capacity to work both independently and in a team;

·        Professionalism in representing Cesvi when dealing with external actors.
