OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION

UNICEF is an international Organization in currently based in Tunis, Tunisia though working on the return plan to Tripoli, Libya.

 

Looks for an emergency and immediate need for an administration and Event Coordinator to support in a current project " Positive Peace Workshop"

 

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Role objective:

The main duties that the young national Administration and event Coordinator will be expected to carry out are: Lead a big event organized by humanitarian organization to a high success

 

Expected output:

Leading logistic/ administrative staff

 

Demonstrating high level of communication with the coordinator in Libya and the project manager in Tunis; as well as with other related parties of the project

 

Demonstrating a high capacity of dealing with various parties (participants of the event) from deferent ages/backgrounds/cultures

 

Preparing of various documentation and follow ups

 

Demonstrating high capacity for preparing/organizing big events

 

Playing an important role as a focal point with deferent parties

 

Dealing/arranging logistic requests like transportation/accommodation flight tickets

 

Project reporting:

Reporting to the project manager

 

Team management:

This role doesn't require management field

 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Education:

§  Diploma in administation or any related area.

 

Work experience:

§  Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable relevant Logistics experience.

 

Geographical experience:

§  Minimum of 5 years of experience in Africa with local experience in Tripoli , Libya is an advantage.

 

Languages:

§  Fluency in Arabic and English are essential.

 

 

Key competencies:

Intelligent / effective / good communicator / proactive

 

Hold at least the equivalent of the Bashelors Degree a relevant subject

 

Female / single

 

Proficiency in English

 

Computer literate in standard software applications;

 

Demonstrated a high level of good communication

 

Demonstrate a proven experience in administrative staff/ organizing event/work shops
